These woodcuts are part of an ongoing series in which Margaret Adams Parker pays homage to artists she admires. She considers Käthe Kollwitz and Rembrandt to be her greatest "mentors," and has included, behind each artist, images of their works. The portrait of Bach, with an organ behind him, was a present for her son’s 21st birthday.
