The Sculpting Process: Sculpting in Plaster, Part 2
At a much later stage the wire has been covered with plaster. I am applying more plaster with a small spatula-shaped plaster tool. This metal tool must be cleaned after each batch of plaster in order to keep it from becoming clogged with dried plaster. Left-over plaster will also cause the tools to rust.
